Home Health Aide(Level 2)
This course aims to acquaint and train persons to be competent in the services and support that they can offer to the elderly and disabled population through methods of theoretical and practical skills. The courses are in line with units from the Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ) Care for the Older Adult level 2 which serves as a guideline to ensuring that students are knowledgeable on the fundamentals and are capable of providing exceptional healthcare to elderly and disabled persons. Learners will be enlightened with knowledge on the physical and healthcare aspect of caring for the elderly and disabled. Whilst completing the courses, the learners will be able to apply knowledge and training at external elderly nursing homes as a means of a practicum in order to give hands on approach to developing themselves professionally.
