This program is designed for learners who want to advance their career, or interested in starting a career in the medical field to become a phlebotomy technician. This is a comprehensive 96-hour course with a further 34 hours practical and group work allotted time.

Certificate in Emergency Medical Response Skills (EduQual Level 4)The EMT-Basic curriculum is a core curriculum of minimum required information, to be presented within a 170-hour training program. It is recognized that there is additional specific education that will be required of EMT-Basics who operate in the field, i.e. ambulance driver training, heavy and light rescue, basic extrication, special needs, and so on. It is also recognized that this information might differ from locality to locality, and that each training program or system should identify and provide special training requirements. This curriculum is intended to prepare a medically competent EMT-Basic to operate in the field. Enrichment programs and continuing education will help fulfill other specific needs for the EMT-Basic's education.

Certificate in Home Health Care (EduQual Level 2)This course aims to acquaint and train persons to be competent in the services and support that they can offer to the elderly and disabled population through methods of theoretical and practical skills. The courses are in line with units from the Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ) Care for the Older Adult level 2 which serves as a guideline to ensuring that students are knowledgeable on the fundamentals and are capable of providing exceptional healthcare to elderly and disabled persons. Learners will be enlightened with knowledge on the physical and healthcare aspect of caring for the elderly and disabled. Whilst completing the courses, the learners will be able to apply knowledge and training at external elderly nursing homes as a means of a practicum in order to give a hands on approach to developing themselves professionally. They will be able to understand and demonstrate good work practices in the provision of care services that they will offer. During the course of study, learning how to safely transfer the elderly in a variety of situations, prevent elder and disabled abuse, encourage seniors to take medications as well as provide proper hygiene will be highlighted.
